Because my eyesight isn't great, I set my web browser to use a minimum of 14pt fonts, which are one to two "sizes" bigger than most web pages are designed for. Some web pages still work fine; others, in particular travel sites, many login boxes, and pretty much anything artistic, don't work so well. I took a quick, unscientific survey this morning of four sites I use regularly that have caused problems in the past, Alaska Air, Southwest, Travelocity, and Expedia. I checked them at 12pt and 14pt and took screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about. I'm happy to report that Alaska Air and Expedia now work fine at 14pt. Sadly, Travelocity and Southwest still have problems that require changing browser settings (and squinting) to get past.
