Procedure E.1.  All the things

  1. Get status

    Set keyboard to qwerty in desktop software (KDE etc).

    Reset top left key to self via the Program key.

    Type =+s. (hold down equal and type s). Desired? configuration settings:

  2. Turn off the click

    Turn off key-clicks with program+backslash.

    Turn off the caps-lock click with program+hyphen

  3. Remap the keyboard

    This mapping moves some of the non-alphanumeric keys. It's not required for using dvorak, but it makes dvorak nicer on Kinesis. Could probably be used with Qwerty

    For each remap, type program+F12, then the source key, then the sink key. For purposes of the remapping, ignore the dvorak layout and work from the original qwerty markings.
